You can download episodes of The Chosen and watch them anytime, even without an internet connection. Here's how to download, find, and manage them on your Apple or Android mobile device.
To download episodes, you'll need:
An iPhone, iPad, or Android phone/tablet with the latest version of The Chosen app installed.
Note: Some older device software versions may not support downloads. If downloading isn't working, make sure both your device and the app are fully updated, then try again.
Note: Bonus content, Bible Roundtables, and Aftershows aren't available to download — only full episodes.
How to Download an Episode
Open The Chosen app.
Select the episode you want to watch.
Near the bottom right corner of the video, select Download.
The episode starts downloading.
You can download as many episodes as you'd like, and they'll stay on your device until you delete them.
How to Watch a Downloaded Episode Offline
Open The Chosen app.
Select Downloads.
Select the episode you want to watch.
How to Cancel a Download in Progress
Select the episode that's downloading.
In the bottom right corner of the video player, select Cancel.
Confirm by selecting Cancel Download.
How to Delete a Downloaded Episode
From Downloads:
Open The Chosen app and select Downloads.
Select the trash/delete icon next to the episode.
Confirm by selecting Delete.
From the video player:
Open the downloaded episode from Downloads.
Select Complete in the bottom right corner.
Confirm by selecting Delete.
Fix Common Download Problems
If an episode won't download:
Make sure download storage is turned on for the app, in your device's app settings.
Make sure you have enough free storage on your device.
Update the app and your device's software, then try again.
Delete and reinstall the app.
If none of this works, use the Give Feedback option in the app menu, or contact support.
